My SHINee’s Orgel interpretation…

At first I thought it was Jonghyun literally describing his dependance on the music box he is holding, (insert something deep about memory and genuineness in this cruel world etc etc), but then people said the music box was a girl and that it was about his possessive nature…
but now I think that actually…. Jonghyun (or “SHINee”) is the music box, and it’s his darker thoughts on his job… And fans?

It is afterall, the Misconceptions of Me. (Me being SHINee). I feel like the narrative is actually us fans, and our possessive words are our love for SHINee, our music “box”, which sings for us.

Here are the lines that got me thinking;

작은 상자 안에 갇혀 답답하진 않을지
